As one of the early Midwest producers/dj’s of ragga and jungle, Ragga Scum (SVS) has
topped cities all around North America, following suit behind ground breakers such as Evol
Intent and Twinhooker. Some of his recent production, including ‘Another Champion’ (slated
to Hum Fi Drum), have become staples to world ranking dj’s around the globe. With future
releases set on Warlord, Gun, and long time friend Murderbot’s label, Dead Homies, the
Kansas City phenomenon is only bound to spread. Further support is provided by the
Konkrete Jungle Fam worldwide, SelfDest Clothing, and the bad boys of M.I.A. (Murda In
America), where we smash dance floors.
With over 20 years of musical experience Ragga Scum has gone from band outcast to one of
the top stateside artists in drum and bass. Growing up on ’Strong Island’ (Long Island,
NY) paved the way for his musical tastes to mature on locals such as Biz Markie, Wu-Tang,
Biohazard, and Africa Bambaataa. The now 29 year old owner of Warlord Dubplate and Gun/Gun
LTD has been conquering cities all along side artists Calyx, Gremlinz, Starscream,
Analyze, Danny the Wildchild, Spor, Murderbot, 0=0, Evol Intent, and Jae Kennedy.
